During your stay, we process certain personal data.

This includes in particular:

  • the legally required registration with the municipality of Ohlstadt,
  • the provision of a digital guest card sent by email,
  • as well as organizational information related to your stay.

Data processing is carried out exclusively for the purpose of conducting your stay and fulfilling legal obligations.

With the following privacy policy, we inform you about which types of personal data are processed in connection with the use of our website as well as with the booking and execution of your stay in our holiday apartments.

This privacy policy applies to the online offering Daserhaus and all related holiday accommodation services.

2. General Principles of Data Processing

We process personal data exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and other applicable legal provisions.

Personal data is processed only insofar as this is:

  • necessary for the performance of an accommodation contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR),
  • required due to legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR),
  • or necessary to safeguard legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3. Booking of the Holiday Apartment

When booking our holiday apartments, we process personal data that is required for the establishment, execution, and billing of the accommodation contract.

The processed data may include in particular:

  • First and last name
  • Postal address
  • Email address
  • Telephone number
  • Booking and stay details
  • Payment information (without storage of full payment details)

4. Use of the Smoobu Booking System

For managing bookings, occupancy schedules, guest data, and for providing a digital guest folder, we use the external service provider:

Smoobu processes personal data exclusively on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

5. Digital Guest Folder

Via the Smoobu booking system, we provide our guests with a digital guest folder. This is offered as a web application via a subdomain of Smoobu.

The digital guest folder serves to provide stay-related information and to process legally required registration procedures.

  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract)
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation)

6. Statutory Registration Procedure (Registration Form)

Guests are legally required to complete a registration form. For this purpose, an online form is provided via the digital guest folder.

The data entered is converted into an electronic registration form and transmitted to the competent municipality via a technical service provider.

The processed data may include in particular:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Postal address
  • Nationality
  • Period of stay

Recipients of the registration data:

  • feratel media technologies AG (technical processing)
  • Municipality of Ohlstadt (competent registration authority)

7. Digital Guest Card

As part of the stay, guests receive a digital guest card. This is created by the service provider feratel media technologies AG and sent electronically to the email address provided by the guest.

The digital guest card enables access to regional services and benefits and is an integral part of the stay.

The processed data may include:

  • First and last name
  • Email address
  • Period of stay

  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation)

8. Recipients and Data Disclosure

Personal data is disclosed exclusively to the following recipients, insofar as this is necessary:

  • Smoobu GmbH (booking and guest management)
  • feratel media technologies AG (registration form, guest card)
  • Municipality of Ohlstadt (statutory registration obligation)

9. Storage Period

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations.

Registration data is subject to statutory retention periods and is deleted after their expiration.

10. Rights of Data Subjects

You have the right at any time to obtain information, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, and data portability in accordance with Articles 15 to 20 GDPR.

If processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you have the right to object pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy in the event of legal or factual changes.
